Public Forum on Improving North Jersey Today at HCCC
What can make North Jersey better?
If you have some ideas, Together North Jersey, is holding a public workshop today to discuss the future of the region.
Residents can come and share their ideas on how to improve and shape Jersey City as well as express appreciation for things they already love about their city.
Together North Jersey says the workshop is part of a series being held throughout the region that aims to create a plan for local, state and regional entities to build strong communities with better access to transportation, housing, jobs, educational, cultural and recreational opportunities.
The North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA) will also be at the event to discuss Plan 2040, its update to the long-range transportation plan for the region.
Together North Jersey is a collaborative planning initiative working in 13 counties.
The workshop will be held later today, April 15, at 6 pm at the Hudson County Community College Culinary Conference Center, located at 161 Newkirk St. For more information, contact Miriam Salerno at miriam.salerno[at]ejb.rutgers.edu or 848-932-2876.
