A 5K run and Earth Day fair will be held in Liberty State Park by the Hudson County Improvement Authority (HCIA).



Registration for the 5K will be held from 7:30 am to 9:30 am in the park. The race begins at 10 am. Participants can run through the park along the Hudson River waterfront as a USA Track and Field-NJ (USATF-NJ) certified competitor or walk to benefit the Friends of Liberty State Park.



Trophies will be given to the first through third placing males and females overall. There will also be medals given to top finishers in multiple age groups.

Registration, which includes parking, is $25 on the day of the event, $21 before April 13. Pre-registered USATF-NJ members pay $18. To register, click here.



A fair, featuring Earth Day Kids Kingdom with activities for children, will follow and run through 5 pm. There will be T-shirts for registrants as well as refreshments.
